Abby Saul
About the Artist
Abby Saul is an animator and illustrator with a Bachelor’s degree in Drawing and Painting from the Ontario College of Art and Design University in Toronto, Canada. She specializes in 2D digital animation, concept art and visual development. With over 5 years of teaching experience, she has taught art fundamentals, portfolio preparation, painting, drawing, and animation to students of all ages and skill levels.
Urban Landscapes and Plein Air
As an urban painter, she has painted a collection of cityscape paintings and outdoor observational work throughout the years in order to develop proficiency in painting fundamentals.
Fallow (2027)
For the last 5 years she has been directing, animating, and painting assets for Fallow, a short animated film exploring how periods of dormancy can create the conditions necessary for growth, resilience, and transformation. Currently in production and slated for screening at upcoming film festivals.
